I agree with you that Kaoma has simplified and reduced the AHB to a question of imported homophobia from the West. I am an anthropology student and it seems I have more of an understanding of Ugandan and African history then their own leader. Homosexuality was tolerated and in many cases viewed as a hjgher place in most of pre-colonial Africa. Anti-homosexualty was actually the western ideal. So. If the Uganadan president wants to be "traditional" then he is actually doing the wrong thing. Plus murder is never good and is against the 10 commandments which is what really confuses me to begin with. God created all in his image including homosexuals.
