I'm a Christian and feel that although science should be regarded as an important to our progressing, I also feel there's room for the spiritual. In fact, I can see where studying science has brought me closer to my creator and more in awe of the magnificence of our universe. Science and religion can go hand in hand, where I differ with many "scientists" of today is that they've become beholden to a political agenda (global warming for instance) and have forgotten that they must sometimes look to prove a stated scientific fact wrong rather than falsifying or hiding data in order to prove a preconceived notion true.
