		<description>Yes sadly many women with ADHD get missed because they&#039;re more likely to have the inattentive type of ADHD so they&#039;re not usually acting out like men with ADHD. Also many people don&#039;t know about the inattentive type of ADHD.

I know 5 women personally who went through 10 + years of therapy and meds for depression, mentioned to their psychologist/psychiatrist that they might have ADHD, were rudely dismissed. They eventually found someone who really knew ADHD, got treated and no more depression, since it was caused by not managing their ADHD symptoms.

I&#039;ve got a section on my website on for students with ADHD with links to 40 articles and ebooks some might find useful
